Don't get scammed!

During tax season, we want to remind everyone that the IRS will not call you about a payment without first mailing a bill to you and will never demand immediate payment via credit card or prepaid gift cards.  Unfortunately, there are many fraudsters pretending to be the IRS or the Social Security Administration as a way to gather money and personal information from you.  The intent is not to worry you, just to make you aware so you can avoid being scammed.  Attached is a report from the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging, though we recommend everyone review this whatever your age.    Read Report
